GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

MY BACKGROUND

I grew up in Metro New York, with the sounds of our local MTA station just across the street, and a steady stream of filmmakers, photographers and graphic designers filtering through our Mt. Vernon apartment. I quickly took up rough-and-tumble filmmaking, and originally used photography as practice, before it took its own role in my work. My original “education” in documentary has informed absolutely everything I create.

Film and photography are a part of my daily routine! You’ll find me taking photos everywhere I go, as I have been for well over a decade now. I won’t just be looking at your wedding as a vendor, I’ll be treating every moment the same way I’d treat any shot that draws my attention.

In my non-wedding life, I’m a filmmaker and director, and you can expect me to bring the same creative attention to your day that I would bring to any narrative production. I’ll be drawing from the same lessons and experience, the same creative process, and the same eye.

AND I WANT TO LEARN ABOUT YOU!

I don’t want your wedding to just be copy-and-paste, and the best way to guarantee that is getting comfortable with each other before the day. We’ll make time for a call, and arrive on-the-day with a goal that goes beyond a checklist or moodboard.

HEIGHTENED NATURALISM

is how I'd sum up my style—seeking out bold color, bold light, and bold motion whenever possible, and allowing the real moments to breathe.

I love to draw inspiration from old Super 8mm wedding films--with all of the imperfections and movement, and from Impressionist Paintings--with the vibrant colors and textures.

I’m always looking for the outtake to use in the final cut, or the moment of light and motion that wasn’t planned, to form the energy of the project. I seek out the smaller, messier details in all of my work, because that’s where things become even more beautiful and unique to your day.

The details and landscapes of your day are just as important to me as anything else that happens, and I love letting the environment inform the shot the same way I would with any scene.

I’ll bring that same eye to your wedding, for the moments that weren’t in the schedule, the feelings you didn’t expect. I'll create something that allows you to relive all of the best feelings in rich detail. And we’ll do that together, alongside your entire vendor team!

WE'LL MAKE A GOOD TEAM IF:

- You value naturalism
- You want emotion to be the focal point
- You appreciate the little moments as much as the big ones
- You want our work to feel conversational
- You want your day to be relaxed
- You plan on having a great dance floor

THE CLIENT EXPERIENCE

WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER...

I will always prioritize putting you at ease, because that is not only when the best moments will happen, but it will also simply let you enjoy your day!

I will draw from my background in narrative film and personal photography, leaning into my experience as a director and cinematographer, and know when to give you space and when to give you guidance—and prioritize guidance that allows you to be yourself.

CLIENTS WHO'VE WORKED WITH ME HAVE SAID:

- I'm relaxing--life's too short, and so is your wedding!

- You can tell I come from a film background--timeless and emotional

- I'm unobtrusive--I'll capture your moments, not interrupt them

- Natural, not performative--I'll always prioritize feeling over aesthetic

- Intimate and artistic--you deserve to relive your day in personal detail

I want to work with you and the rest of your vendor team to find and create moments that feel alive. To prioritize the life of that moment and not always the aesthetic of it.

I want to capture one of the most important days of your lives, one of the best parties, with your favorite people, in a way that lets you intimately relive it all. Create lasting memories of those moments and people “in the wild”, as they actually were.

My job is to create something that’ll be just as impactful for you fifty years from now.
